The family of Valeria Schwab, the woman found murdered in the Chubut city of Comodoro Rivadavia, has requested the Justice system to order urgent measures to expedite the clarification of the femicide. Lawyer Mauro Fontañez questioned the Provincial Superior Court of Justice that the judge in charge of the investigation did not order raids and other judicial measures, according to local media reports. The lawyer criticized the established times for obtaining key elements from the implemented expert analyses, for example, the biological samples obtained through a genetic expert analysis, but, as the laboratories of the Interdisciplinary Forensic Corps of Puerto Madryn remain closed, help was requested from the Public Prosecutor's Office of Río Negro. This is an important analysis as it would inform whether the traces collected belong to a man. In that case, it could correspond to the implicated party who committed suicide or other people who are homeless “who can lead us to possible authors and/or accomplices and with the Provincial Registry of Genetic Profiles (law XV Nº 36)”, added Fontañez. Jonathan Mario C., the victim's partner who took his own life, had previous judicial precedents in the province for causes of homicide and aggravated robbery, as well as participated as a complainant in a case for the abuse of weapons. IP The man worked as a bricklayer in a house, where he arrived with scratches on his face.
